Asian, Disabled, Queer, Autistic, South Asian

Washington, DC area

I am a queer and disabled Asian-American artist seeking to cultivate a kinder world through my art. My core values are authenticity, accessibility, and sustainability. I graduated from George Mason University in May 2023 with a double concentration in Theatre Performance and Design Technology, and a minor in Graphic Design. I work mainly as a prop and puppet designer, but also dabble in scenic and recently have been interested in projections. My skillset ranges from digital illustration and animation to traditional art including leatherworking, foam carving, and a variety of other fabrication skills. I enjoy repurposing found materials into my art, and have a particular interest in puppetry as a bold storytelling tool. When I am not building props and puppets out of things I pull out of dumpsters, I can be found bartending around the DC area, petting cats, and traveling absurd distances just to visit cute coffee shops.
