Madeline Oslejsek (Mo) is a queer multidisciplinary theatre artist whose work is based in phenomenology and 'queer' as a practice. Using space, sound, and text to shine a light on the imperfections of the human experience, she aims to push the boundaries of what spectators and makers believe theatrical art is capable of.
At the core of her work is her passion for creating risk-taking theatre that simultaneously highlights the differences and similarities between individuals to create connections through shared experiences and understandings.
She specialises in theatre theory and research, soundscape design, and devised theatre practices with an affinity for site-responsive theatre and theatre-in-the-dark.
Credentials include a BA in Theatre from Ohio Wesleyan University and MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London.
