My name is Michelle Marie Lynch, and I am a playwright & dramaturg & assistant director based in Washington DC. My current position is the Artistic and Literary Associate to the Artistic Director of Folger Theatre. My life is dedicated to uplifting new works, and creating in community. I carry gratitude for my brilliant collaborators and friends, who inspire me to constantly expand my understanding of this art. It takes a village to make a play, and as a dramaturg I often describe my role in that village as the doula. A single moment of brilliance onstage represents countless moments of finding our way through the dark. If you need me, I'm here to help.
