Fitz Morrissey, a Washington D.C native, is a born and bred designer and producer of live entertainment. In his early years, Fitz studied in dramatic and vocal arts, and worked his way up to attending the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Northwest Washington D.C. At Ellington, Fitz's creative journey became focused on the technical side, as he gained extreme proficiency in a variety of related areas - Lighting, Sound, Carpentry, Management, Film, Recording, Consulting, and Producing as he worked hundreds of shows. Fitz freelances around Washington D.C, and is a BFA Lighting Candidate at UNCSA. He enjoys spending time outdoors, with his family, and is passionate about continuing to use the arts to influence change.
