We offer a variety of paid job opportunities ideal for both talented teens and experienced professionals.
Our Teen Performance Ensemble recruits performers ages 16-18 to rehearse and perform original plays for summer camp audiences in Prince George's County. Rehearsals take place in the evenings from April through June, with weekday performances Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 2 PM, running from June to August. In addition to actors, the Teen Performance Ensemble employs local playwrights, directors, costume designers, set designers, and company managers with strong stage management skills to ensure the tour runs smoothly, keeping the actors organized and provide mentorship to set them up for success.
We also offer paid opportunities for the Shakespeare in the Parks Outdoor Tour, where local actors perform Shakespeare’s timeless works for family audiences at parks in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties. Rehearsals occur on weekday evenings and late mornings/afternoons on weekends starting in mid May, with 12 evening performances scheduled throughout June and July. Along with actors, we hire creative team members, including costume designers, set designers, stage technicians, set builders, and sound engineers, to help bring these productions to life.
